Twelve times a year the sky changes house, and the Curator writes.

Each essay belongs to its season and to no other. It is written while that season is running — under its particular light — and then it is filed, and it stays. The seasons return; the essays do not leave.

Read enough of them, in order, and you are reading the house think out loud across the years.
